How to post a listing

Tap Legg ut annonse (Post a listing), pick a category, and fill in the details — we help you with much of the work along the way, and publishing is free.

Step by step

Tap "Legg ut annonse". Choose a category: Cars, Property, Boats or the Marketplace.
Let us fill things in for you. Selling a car? Enter the registration number. Selling a home? Enter the address. We suggest the rest (see below).
Add photos. Good photos mean a faster sale. You can upload from your device, or use the QR code to take photos with your phone.
Write an honest description. Cover the condition, what's good and anything worth mentioning.
Set a price. That's up to you.
Publish — free. Your listing is live straight away.

Cars: auto-fill from the registration number

Enter the car's registration number and we fetch the vehicle data — make, model, model year and more. The data opens in an editable "Tekniske detaljer" (Technical details) section; go through it, correct any errors and fill in what's missing. You are always responsible for the information being correct.

Homes: confirm the address, fill in the property facts yourself

Enter the address to confirm it exists in the matrikkel (the Norwegian land and property register) — the listing then gets the correct address and municipality. The property facts (floor area, bedrooms, ownership type, year built and the rest) you fill in yourself. Go through everything carefully before you publish.

Boats: add the registration number

If the boat is registered in the Småbåtregisteret (the Norwegian small craft register), you can enter the registration number in the "Reg.nr. i Småbåtregisteret" field in the form — it is optional. The number is shown on the listing, so interested buyers can easily check the registration.

Photos with your phone via QR

Starting the listing on your computer, but have the photos on your phone? Scan the QR code in the listing form, and you can take and upload photos straight from your phone — no cable or transfer needed.

Let Folkemarked suggest a title and description

Once you've uploaded photos, you can tap "✨ Foreslå tittel og beskrivelse" (Suggest title and description) — Folkemarked analyses the photo and suggests text automatically. The suggestion is a starting point: read it through, adjust it and put it in your own words. Only you know the price and the history.
